If you’re starting to feel that you’ve outgrown your first little floating island in Solarpunk. It might be time to fly the nest by building a dock and an airship so you can take to the skies!
However, there’s going to be pushback from the wild, and you’re going to need Airship Upgrades to explore more in Solarpunk and broaden your horizons. Here’s how you can get your hands on essential Airship upgrades!
How to Get and Use the Map in Solarpunk
Exploring is essential to Solarpunk, and it’s going to be hard to do without a map to guide you. Here’s how you can get a map with ease!
How to Get Airship Upgrades in Solarpunk
You can find the Airship upgrades with Tradebot, who is on a separate island that you can locate by opening your map with the M key. This island and Tradebot are only reachable once you find all Airship Components (for which we have a guide here) and build your own Airship.
The island with Tradebot has blimps on the side of it, and once you arrive, you can find and speak with Tradebot. Tradebot will exchange Blueprints for specific materials and crops, which we’ll explain below.
Your first Airship Upgrade comes from a Blueprint, and you can only get this Airship Upgrade after you trade with Tradebot a total of 5 times. Once you have your upgrade, go to the Dock and apply the upgrade via the Airship station.
When you interact with the Airship station, it will open a map. At the bottom, there will be a checkbox next to the words Airship Upgrade. Make sure the box is checked, then push the blue upgrade button next to it to apply the upgrade. The circle will expand and show you which new islands are available for you to fly to!
There are four more upgrades that you can get with Tradebot, so keep trading, and eventually they will be given to you!
How to Complete Your First Tradebot Trade in Solarpunk
When you first meet Tradebot, you will be offered a Sprinkler System in exchange for 4 Watermelons. You can get watermelons from the other floating island. When you pick them, it will put seeds into your inventory just like the Raspberries and Cotton, which you can plant at your base.
Once grown, harvest the 4 Watermelons and give them to Tradebot, who in return, will give you a Sprinkler, Cables, and a Power Generator. From this point on, you can check with Tradebot, which will have a list of upcoming trades for Blueprints.
One of the early trades with Tradebot requires Watermelons for a second time. Planting these right away and keeping them when you harvest them will help you achieve this faster.
What To Do With Blueprints in Solarpunk
Across the counter from Tradebot is the Energy Bench. When you first see it, you will have to interact with it to repair it. Once it’s repaired, you will need a Blueprint and possibly other materials depending on what you’re trying to unlock to get new recipes to build at your Energy Workbench.
The Workbench is separate from the Bench, as the Bench is just for researching the recipes, while the Workbench allows you to build them once they’re unlocked. This is where you can start to build your own items that were given to you with the Sprinkler Kit.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
